Owned the checkout frontend, working with backend developers on the API.
Checkout is where a store earns or loses the sale. It has to handle coupons, instalments and tax invoices correctly, and returning customers should be able to pay with a saved card, which is exactly where duplicates, flaky networks and leaked identifiers hurt most.

Stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript
Coupon and monthly-instalment calculations, plus address and tax-invoice validation before the order is placed.
Look up an existing Omise customer by e-mail before creating a new one.
Card tokens are single-use, so failed requests are retried safely instead of silently losing the card.
Customer IDs and tokens are encrypted with AES-256.
